Before running applications that require reference annotation (selecting MAS-seq in run design) for the first time, a reference annotation must be added to SMRT Link or an error is thrown (We’re sorry… Something went wrong, Unable to find dataset with ID…).
To add a reference, go to SMRT Link, select settings (right part of top bar), click updates, and select the appropriate reference.
