Genome sequence of Weissella cibaria M2, a potential probiotic strain isolated from the feces of a giant panda.

Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Weissella cibaria M2, a potential probiotic strain isolated from the feces of a giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca). The genome consists of one chromosome of 2.56 Mb and two plas- mids. The genome contains 2,420 genes which make up 86.17% of genome.
