Genome sequence of Marinobacter sp. strain MCTG268 isolated from the cosmopolitan marine diatom Skeletonema costatum.

Marinobacter sp. strain MCTG268 was isolated from the cosmopolitan marine diatom Skeletonema costatum and can degrade oil hydrocarbons as sole sources of carbon and energy.
