We report here the complete genome sequence of Escherichia coli O157:H7 strain JEONG-1266 isolated from a super- shedder steer in northwest Florida. Cattle are considered a primary reservoir of E. coli O157:H7, and those cattle that excrete this pathogen in their feces at levels =104 CFU/g are known as super-shedders. Copyright © 2016 Teng et al.
